Hi Maggie
Just wanted to let
you know we had a lovely time at staying on your site over the bank
holiday, our only bad point being the weather which none of us have any
control over. We will definitely be visiting the site again as we all
enjoyed ourselves only next time will hopefully be in a caravan as we
decided to go have a look at one when we got home - no longer will we
have to worry too much about the weather while we're away. Brooke can't
wait to come next time as she missed out on having a go fishing as she
went home poorly on the Saturday, although i did take some pictures of
the fish Wayne caught to show her.
Many thanks again
and we look forward to seeing you soon.
Regards
Anne, Wayne and
family
Hiya mate ,
sending you the pics you asked me for
from my great days fishing on pond B on Wednesday the 6th of June
2007. After having a delicious breakfast in the cafe on site {
which is a must have }I was fishing peg
20 on pond B just opposite the toilet block. It was cold and windy
and the fish were slow to feed but after about an hour of getting
there heads down to feed on pole cupped ground bait they settled for
pellet on the hook and loose feed over the top to give me a nice
weight of 701bs.
THANKS FOR A GREAT DAYS FISHING ,
A.McCLUREY
Hi....
Just wanted to say thanks for all the help with our caravan,
when the electric went and we had no heating! and also for
lending us the aqua roll, when ours wouldn't fit, as you could
tell, its our first caravan, and it was our first trip out in
it...and you guys made it a lot easier on us...we had a lovely 4
nights at Caistor, and we are hoping to return in Feb. 08, for a
week, My husband and our son are hoping to do some fishing,
whilst me and our baby son will do some relaxing on such
a peaceful site!

Hi Maggie and Rob
just a quick thank you note for all your assistance when the
wheel bearing (and other stuff) went south on our trailer tent
during our stay with you. We really enjoyed the extended weekend
at your site but we were obviously quite upset that the trailer
tent we had recently bought had not lived up to expectations. I
would just like to thank you and Rob for making things a little
easier for us by the way you co-operated and were understanding
of the situation.
We will look forward to visiting you again in the future
(hopefully without being so much trouble),
Thanx

Hi there Mike and Margaret,
We have just seen the terrific "ad" you have put on the web site for our Caravan. Thanks a lot for that, we really do appreciate all your help during the time we have stayed with you, and you will be high on the list of people that we will miss when we finally go to Spain.
Thanks once again.
Cheers!

20/06/06 Hi Mike & Margaret First of all many thanks again for a first class weekend. The weekend was so hot I started to fish early doors but with the heat and not knowing how to fish the pond, it was off to a slow start by around 12.30 I had tried several ways with not much luck so I decided to take a break and take a few hours away from the rod. An hour later I was back thinking right be more positive this time. Most of the big carp seemed to be on top not interested in anything I put there way , can't say I blame them in that heat .lol.. So I decided to go to a 3lb line and a 2lb bottom with a 18 hook and slow sinking the bait. well that was it 23 carp later not counting the ones that got off ! ( Ask Deano ) lol. carp ranging from 3lb up to 11lb mark came in from all over the place by 7.20pm It's the first time ever I have had to stop fishing early because of being so tired my arms ached my shoulders ached but what a fantastic afternoons fishing I have to say it was my intentions to awake early the next day for another bash but the sleep got the better of me. So I settled for a quite chilling day after eating one of your lovely cooked breakfasts. So once again a big thanks for being great hosts to our weekend and can't wait for this weekend to come to get back again. Yours Sincerely Steve & Jackie Hull21/06/06 Dear Margaret 29/05/06 Hi Mike &Margaret.
Just a small note to thank you both, for a great weekend yet
again. The weather wasn't to good, but that is probably the only
thing that you are unable to arrange .Mike would have a go if their
was enough hours in the day . Anyway the fishing was as great
as always .I had two great days on pond c. The first day I had just
under 16lbs from peg 8 in about 4hrs .And on the second day 31lbs all
bream .Then Steve topped a good weekend with 60lb+. I still say it
was all down to my baiting up a couple of hours before. Anyway thanks
again and we will see you soon

3/05/2005 From Rob Millns of Holmfirth Hi Mike,
Thanks for a good weekend, mixed
weather but on the whole not bad. I ended up with 11 carp from 5lb 6oz
to 11 lb 8oz (nearly all commons!), 1 tench at 2lb and a little barbel
(my first ever). Most were on sweetcorn, although a couple on pepperami
and a couple on boilie. So all in all not too bad for April.
I'll see you soon.
Rob
