Fishing

We have 3 ponds for you to enjoy on the caravan site.

Pond D is for caravan and camping anglers only. 16 Pegs No island feature stocked with Carp to 15lb+ Bream to 4lb, Ide & Perch to 3lb+, Crucian to 2lb, Chub & Barbel to 4lb, Tench to 6lb

Pond C 16 Pegs 2 islands - Bream, Chub, Barbel to 4lb, Ide to 3lb.

Pond B 16 pegs 1 island -Carp to 21lb+ Bream to 4lb, Ide & Perch to 3lb+, Crucian to 2lb, Chub & Barbel to 4lb, Tench to 6lb

As you can tell from the details above we are not a huge commercial fishery, but a well run pleasure fishery with 1st class healthy fish for you to enjoy catching in a relaxed rural location. We do have some rules and regulations, one of them is no keep nets except during matches but the rest are just common sense that all decent anglers are aware of.

Most pegs have easy access with wide grassed areas to the rear of them and are a very short distance from the camping pitches and static caravans.

Please use the dip tanks located around the fishery and take a couple of minutes of your time to read the fishing rules displayed on our notice boards. If in doubt ask a member of the staff.

Every Saturday morning from March until the end of October we have an open fishing match, all are welcome, holiday guests and day anglers. We are happy to have children fishing on our ponds along with a responsible adult and the correct fishing equipment.

Many of our caravan and camping guest are regular visitors through out the year and enjoy organising a few matches amongst themselves; one for adults and one for children, this is usually rounded off with a BBQ and a few drinks.

Our ponds are also open for day ticket fishing £6.50 Dawn/Dusk 2 Rods
