Pond C  was opened for fishing in May 2004. It has been well stocked with Barbel, Bream, Chub and Ide. These fish have increased in size and weight tremendously. Whilst there are no giants in here, they are growing well, get them going and you are guaranteed tired arms by the end of the day 40/60lb mixed bags are not uncommon. In late Summer 2007 100 brown Trout were introduced to help keep down the Bream fry that were tending to be such a problem. These fish also helped to improve Winter catches.

Pond D

At last we have completely stocked our new match pond. The depth varies from 3m to 1m all over. This pond was dug with a very obscure bed. With troughs and holes covering all the bottom. Three sides are easily fishable from box or basket but the remaining side has pontoons to offer comfortable positions. The pond has been stocked with all species found in all our other ponds with the exception of Perch and Trout. The pond is currently only open to campers and matches.

All ponds are naturally fed with spring water that comes off the Lincolnshire Wolds. This water is of the highest quality being filtered firstly by chalk and then by sand, we believe it is this along with intensive and careful management that has helped our stock to be of such a great quality, along with your help we can maintain our standards and the fishing.
